To create a beautiful wedding – it’s all in the details! You may think that people won’t remember the little things from the day, but in fact it’s what they remember over everything else! I don’t really have an eye for detail, so I left it mostly in the capable hands of our wedding planners in Greece (Zante Weddings) to organise, however there were a few smaller things that my mum and me chose in the UK and took out with us for the big day.

Table Set Up

I was totally obsessed with Pinterest before my big day and I spent many hours searching and pinning ‘boho table set ups’. I think you can tell! I wanted something simple, boho and rustic looking with pastel colours and ivory and definately not matchy matchy.

The flowers, mason jars and table wear were provided by the planner but everything else was found by either me or my mum and brought from the UK or sources in Greece.

The male favours for example (pictured above) were different Olive Oil Fusions which be bought from a local Zakynthian gift shop. We then tied the twine and favour tags on ourselves. In this picture you can also see the corner of our ‘bonus’ favours which everyone got on their place setting. We bought 50 scratch cards from the UK and placed them in vintage brown mini envelopes which we sourced from eBay!

I was so pleased with our place name cards which also came from EBay. They were really good value and looked really classy and elegant. My mum wrote the names as she has such lovely handwriting! You can see these place name cards here.

The favours for the girls were Olive soaps which, again, we bought locally in Zakynthos. I liked the fact that we were supporting the local community. We purchased the favour bags in advanced and they came from The Last Detail; a great website with lots of cute wedding decor ideas.

The favour tags, which we tied into each favour individually, came from ArtCuts UK; a lovely company which we found at the National Wedding Show. We ordered these cute tags pictured above as well as some really unique table confetti which were wooden too – to make a change from the standard rose petals!

Lastly – but one of my favourite things about the table set up – were our personalised stickers which we used on the scratch card envelopes. The came from Zazzle, a brilliant site where you can literally personalise anything for your wedding! They really made the envelopes extra special.

Personalised wooden ring box.

This was a surprise for us from my mum. How cute is it?! She got it online, I’m not sure of the exact supplier but there are many eBay stockists who do similarly beautiful ones.

Guest Book Table

The vintage suitcases were provided by the planners, and the lettering is from Art Cuts again. Touches like this really make the reception venue look super classy.

You can just about see another Art Cuts sign which reads ‘Mr & Mrs Erler’ in the corner. Also pictured here is the table plan which we wrote in a ‘chalk look pen’ on a peice of blackboard from eBay. My mum also came up with the idea of the coloured pens and those bits of paper which say ‘draw a picture of the Bride and Groom!’ This was brilliant as it gave the guests something to do while they were waiting for the dinner, and it’s also hilarious to look back on lots of ridiculous illustrations of us! My creative cousin made the signs.

I even brought my ‘happy signs’ from my walls at home! They were a lovely touch to the inside of the villa.

Extras

A few photos of some extra thingswhich definitely  weren’t essential but really made a difference to the details.

Vintage Just Married Bunting – EBay.

Self designed and customised card for my vows – Zazzle

Mr & Mrs Signs and Photo Booth – provided by the planner.

It’s true what they say – the devil is in the detail. You may not notice these small things on the day, but looking back at pictures I notice something different every time! I hope by sharing some of our choices it may give other couples some ideas for their day about what sort of thing is out there. Trust me – there is a lot of choice!
